Perfume: Marc Jacobs Splash Cocktail 2011
The NEW perfumes are coming out on April 24th!!! I am probably getting the Cranberry one because it is one of my favorite dry fruit! This collection includes Cranberry, Ginger and Curacao.
For some of the people who loves perfume, There was another collection that came out last year! I picked up the Green Apple flavor on the first day that it was released. It came along with some macaroons and it tasted SUPER bad. But the perfume itself smells SUPER good.. hehee

Novels
Reading is one of my hobbies. A lot of people don't like reading these days because they find it too time consuming and they have feel that they can use the time to do something that is more fun (ie. watching tv, listening to music, drinking, etc). But for me, I like reading because it is relaxing. I get to lie on the sofa and eat some junk food while reading a novel. I even read novels before I sleep when I have nothing much to do (that is likely to be during semester breaks and holidays).
So for some of the people who likes reading, I would like to recommend some novels and/or authors to you girls. A lot of the novels I read and like end up being in the theatres.
My recommendations are the followings:
#1 - Sophie Kinsella / Madeleine Wickham
I believe her MOST MOST MOST famous novel is SHOPAHOLIC, which became a movie. I read all her books and I totally LOVE it. The reason is probably because I am a shopaholic (somewhat) haha.. Her novels are super easy to read and its very funny. I cannot stop once I started. I can finish a book in a day. Her latest book is called "Mini Shopaholic", which I finished 2/3 of it on my way to Hong Kong from Japan (around 4hrs). It is very funny and I highly recommend it.

#2 - Cecelia Ahern (Best of the best)
Again, I buy all her books and read all of them. P.S. I love you is one of my favorites and again, it became a movie. Cecelia's books are very sweet and full of love. I guess no girls can resist that. However, my recommendation would be "Where Rainbows End". I read this book twice and I can read it for the 3rd, 4th, 5th time if I have the time for it. I think this book is just amazing. It is in a form of conversations and it is EXTREMELY easy to read and you just want to go on and on until you finish.

This is the cover of "Where rainbows end" and I introduced it to some of my friends and they all liked it! =D
#3 - Emily Giffin
This author has a couple books, "Something borrowed", "Something Blue", "Baby Proof", etc. The movie "Something Borrowed" is coming out to the theatres in April 2011.

# 4 - The book "Memoirs of a Geisha"
I read this book when I was grade 11, my "favorite" English teacher said it is an amazing book and insisted me to read it. At that time, no one really know about this novel. I think the movie didn't come out until like 3-4 years after I read the book. This book is a TRUE story and it is very touching and amazing. I felt that I was living at that time when I read it.

1st post!!
It feels weird to start writing again! It seems like I haven't written anything in like a million years. I hope I will do a good job on this blog as I am trying to keep up with writing so my poorly English skill will remain at this level.
Anyways, I am a girl who likes to try out new things. I hope to try out a lot more things this year. For example, taking scuba diving classes, event planning, wedding planning, WSET level 3 and sign language. If possible, I would like to go to places like Dubai, Egypt, South Africa, India and of course Europe when I achieve my above goals. =D I will be finishing my undergrad degree SOON. I cannot wait til I finish because I chose the wrong major and I do not like what I study.
And as for this blog, I will try to update it whenever I find something interesting that I would like to share with others. It could be something that I bought/own, some restaurants that I like/dislike, somewhere that I will do/did, etc... I hope to be friends with whoever that reads my blog as I really want to make more friends!
One last thing before I get started, whatever I blog is only my personal opinions. So, I hope there will be no rude languages, dissing or insulting here.
Thanks for visiting and nice meeting you all!
