So for some of the people who likes reading, I would like to recommend some novels and/or authors to you girls. A lot of the novels I read and like end up being in the theatres.
My recommendations are the followings:
#1 - Sophie Kinsella / Madeleine Wickham
I believe her MOST MOST MOST famous novel is SHOPAHOLIC, which became a movie. I read all her books and I totally LOVE it. The reason is probably because I am a shopaholic (somewhat) haha.. Her novels are super easy to read and its very funny. I cannot stop once I started. I can finish a book in a day. Her latest book is called "Mini Shopaholic", which I finished 2/3 of it on my way to Hong Kong from Japan (around 4hrs). It is very funny and I highly recommend it.

#2 - Cecelia Ahern (Best of the best)
Again, I buy all her books and read all of them. P.S. I love you is one of my favorites and again, it became a movie. Cecelia's books are very sweet and full of love. I guess no girls can resist that. However, my recommendation would be "Where Rainbows End". I read this book twice and I can read it for the 3rd, 4th, 5th time if I have the time for it. I think this book is just amazing. It is in a form of conversations and it is EXTREMELY easy to read and you just want to go on and on until you finish.

#3 - Emily Giffin
This author has a couple books, "Something borrowed", "Something Blue", "Baby Proof", etc. The movie "Something Borrowed" is coming out to the theatres in April 2011.

# 4 - The book "Memoirs of a Geisha"
I read this book when I was grade 11, my "favorite" English teacher said it is an amazing book and insisted me to read it. At that time, no one really know about this novel. I think the movie didn't come out until like 3-4 years after I read the book. This book is a TRUE story and it is very touching and amazing. I felt that I was living at that time when I read it.
